Extremely Rough Sea Conditions Still Excellent for Fishing!
The wind has been blowing hard making it almost unfishable for the last two weeks. For those anglers who braved the elements you were most likely rewarded with plenty of mahi action. Last week I mentioned fishing right outside the inlet with live bait and that was the ticket for several boats this week. It is difficult again to troll in rough sea conditions but putting out the kite and drifting with live bait makes the sea conditions doable. Lots of pelagic species are inshore from 100 to 300 feet of water. It looks like the wind is going to start to back off on Monday for a little window of nice weather until Thursday. This time of the year the weather changes so quickly you always need check the weather before going out. We are going to try to sneak out for the swordfish trip on Tuesday morning so we will have a report from offshore. Don't forget the "Lisa B" is now located at the Naughty Dawg at the Lighthouse Point marina and ready for charter. We are starting to book up days in later November and December so if you have family coming into town, please reach out now to reserve a trip.
For an up to the minute fishing report tune in to Big 105.9 the Paul Castronovo Papas Par fishing report on Friday morning at 6:20 AM.
Stay safe!!!!
