Attach the buoy float to your buoy wind on marks. The sword flag will be your bite indicator.
We often fish two rods while swordfishing. We fish one near the bottom and one up higher off the bottom. We have (buoy wind on markers) at different areas on our buoy spool that we attach this swordfish buoy float to. This float has a longline clip at the bottom for attaching. Most times when a swordfish has eaten the bait on the buoy rod, the buoy will lay flat on the surface. The sword flag located at the top will be your bite indicator (a technique shown to me by Paul Hart aboard "Below Me"). Other times you may look out to see the buoy and it is gone. If that happens, start reeling!!
