Dolphin Offshore, Snapper and Kingfish

Dolphin Offshore, Snapper and Kingfish

The weather looks like it is going to cooperate this weekend so lets go fishing! All week we have gotten reports of great dolphin catches offshore between 600 and 900 feet of water. Seaweed has been patchy and lined up in areas which makes it great for dolphin. Trolling bonito strips or rigged ballyhoo will be your best bet to catch these fish ranging in weight from 8-15 pounds. As for the inshore fishing the Fish City Pride out of Hillsboro Inlet has been putting up great catches of mutton snapper and yellowtail snapper. Drifting spanish sardines in 80-120 feet of water seems to be the ticket for the snappers. Kingfish have been biting north of Boca Inlet from 100-130 feet of water.

Have a great weekend!
