Flight Plan
Yesterday I fished aboard the vessel "Flight Plan" with Captain Casey Hunt. Our goal was to catch a few sailfish and boy did we meet our goal. We began fishing at 9am and fished until 2pm.
We released 15 sails and had 19 bites. In addition to the sailfish we caught a 40 pound kingfish, several big bonitas, barracudas and sharks. We were fishing kites with live bait. It was nonstop action!
The ocean was rough but it wasn't too bad in a 74 foot sportfish like "Flight Plan". If you get a chance to fish this weekend it should be awesome. Call us at the shop if you need assistance with a fishing report.
