It looks like we need to figure out a way to fish effectively with all of the seaweed. This worldwide bloom will not be going away any time soon.
Satellite images are showing that we should expect heavy weed throughout the rest of this year. We at RJ Boyle Studio have been altering our fishing gear to be able to fish successfully in this weed by designing weed guards which keep the hook free of weed as we troll.
Swordfishing In this sea grass is especially difficult and tough on your light delicate braided line. We are constantly thinking about ways to help with this seaweed issue. If you have any ideas please let us know!
