Great fishing right now up and down the coast. First off the kingfish are averaging 12-25 pounds caught trolling while those guys fishing live bait have been putting up numbers near 50 pounds. The top two boats in a fishing tournament last weekend both caught kingfish at 49 pounds. Lots of cobia are being caught around the wrecks from 35 feet of water out to 200 feet of water. If you don't know where the wrecks are we also had anglers fishing blindly over the sand and still catching them. Guys seem to be hooking the cobia both on live baits such as goggle eyes and others seem to be having success speed jigging. As for topwater trolling lots of blackfin tunas and dolphin have been biting between 100 and 400 feet of water. This time of the year really is the start of the best meat fishing months of the year. There are lots of different species to catch so you are able to target a number of different species of fish.
