Pictured here is Chris and Mark Todino with a pair of nice wahoo caught this week aboard the “Lisa B”. Fishing continues to be tough as we are only mustering a few bites per half day trip. Thank the Lord that we are cashing in on our bites as we have caught 1 to 2 Wahoos every trip this week. Sailfish have been biting but again farther north around Juno Beach. We should start to see better near shore fishing in around two weeks.

Offshore fishing has actually been red hot with some big mahi‘s Caught on the swordfish grounds. We received several reports of guys catching fish over 20 pounds so if the sea conditions cooperate this may be something to look into for the weekend. The swordfish bite was insane for three days later this week and one boat “Tree Shaka” landed a 628 pound swordfish. There were several fish in the 300 to 400 pound range caught and we should see this swordfishing continue for the next few weeks. Take a trip offshore in pursuit of a mahi or a sword as this is your best bet for fishing right now.
