Over the last week tons of smaller sized dolphin have been caught off our coast. Boats were catching their limit and eating well all week. The funny thing is that we have also had multiple reports of blue marlin being caught. It almost always seems to be the same story...We hooked a dolphin and a blue marlin ate the dolphin. We fought the marlin for an hour and we ended up catching our first blue marlin!!! This is the time of the year to target that blue marlin! Not many boats actually target blues but they should...I bet you would get a blue marlin bite if you put out the big lures and pulled a couple of dredges.
