Pictured here are swordfish baits rigged with a circle hook. Several of the charters that we take have no interest in harvesting the fish and they are fishing for the pure enjoyment of the release.
When you use a circle hook the fish is almost always hooked in the corner of the mouth and never harmed.
We pull the fish up next to the boat, take a few pictures and let the fish go.
