Once in your life you need to attempt cubera snapper fishing. In the waters off of Miami and Key Largo the wrecks become home to one of the most vicious fish in the ocean. Any fish that can eat a lobster whole has my vote for a top predator. We fish whole live lobster on the bottom in 200 feet of water. The leader we fish is around 40ft. in length with an 11/0 triple strength hook. Once we hook the fish we floor the boat away from the wreck so we don't get hung up.
