Pictured here is a big blackfin tuna caught aboard the charter boat “Native Son” out of Pompano Beach. Captain Art Sapp is considered one of the best in the business when it comes to catching these trophy fish.
Most of his tuna are caught while kite fishing. Blackfin are great eating and put up quite a fight. If you ever get a chance to see one eat a kite bait you will be amazed as the fish usually blows up on the baitfish leaving a big hole in the water.
