This time of the year you need to be watching the weather and checking your boat almost daily. Imagine getting that call or showing up to your boat just to see it sitting on the bottom. It has happened to me so yes I know the feeling. One of the things you need to do is to buy a quality battery charger if you don't have ship to shore service. Most boats sink because of dead batteries. The bilge pumps don't come on because they have no power. Another thing, rotten faulty boat plugs rot away and allow water to flow into the boat along the stringer. The bilge pumps may keep up for a while but eventually they lose power. Lastly live well systems improperly installed will be the culprit for boat singings. Make sure to check on all of these things and again watch the weather.

The fishing for this weekend should be very good . This week we caught lots of bonito and Wahoo up to 40 pounds. The drift boats have had nice catches of snappers.
