Last week we took our annual trip to Nova Scotia in search of giant bluefin tuna. The trip was a total success as we caught 6 fish in three days ranging in size from 600-1,200 pounds. This trip was even more special than in past years as we traveled with our wives. Three couples sharing not only our love for fishing but our love for each other in a country that is so special. The setting is something that one can only dream about. The fishing season lasts only two months as the fish migrate through the area for a short period of time. As for the local fishing the swords are still chewing offshore along with the mahi-mahi. The inshore bite has seen a fair share of wahoo and snapper. With the storm passing by offshore this weekend we should have really good fishing.
