Pictured here is Mike Tarmey  from Lighthouse Point on a trip earlier this week. Floating debris and birds everywhere was the report from offshore. This time of the year when storms are brewing in southern waters we will start to see floating objects which will attract mahi-mahi.

The Gulfstream waters which always push to the north will carry debris from hundreds of miles away right into our back yard.

Most of the action has happened between 10 and 14 miles off the beach. As for swordfish the bite is it still on! Morning Bite has been the ticket so get up early.

Get tight,
RJ Boyle
