Late Season Slobs
Pictured here is Jay Black with a wahoo just over 100 pounds caught last weekend aboard “Svengali”. This is the time when the big fish gather around Matanilla Shoal and Matanilla Reef.
Giant fish like this will also be caught at Hole in the Wall. If you’re making a trip anytime soon over the next month to the Bahamas you may want to concentrate your efforts in those areas to target giant wahoo.
The boys had hooked a double on the short rods and as soon as they boated two fifty pounders they put the boat in gear and wham the high line came down screaming.
What a fish!
