Sailfish, Dolphin or Snapper
We will have beautiful weather Friday and Saturday. Light winds out of the southeast and a flat calm ocean will be much welcomed after the last two weeks of wind and rain. The mahi-mahi fishing nearshore should be excellent as debris and weeds have pushed inshore onto the reefs. Look for current rips and color changes from 300-600 feet of water. We will also be greeted with a sailfish bite on Sunday as a cold front pushes through. Sea conditions will deteriorate after Sunday so get out before then. As for the bottom fishing mutton snapper have been biting in 60-80 feet of water. The best bait for the snapper has been live ballyhoo which you can catch on the patch reefs inshore.
Enjoy the weekend!
