The sailfish bite was absolutely ridiculous on Wednesday. Record numbers of sailfish were caught trolling which is crazy! Usually the guys who are using live bait put up big numbers but that has not been the case this week. John B out of Deerfield caught 13 sailfish and had another 12 he pulled the hook on while fishing Wednesday. The best of the action was in 200 feet of water off north Boca near the Delray line. Rigged bonito strips was the bait of choice. Ryan Goldman out of Hillsboro caught 6 sails and a big wahoo on a morning trip that same day. I hope it stays good for the weekend!
