On wednesday we took a ride over to Chokoloskee to fish with backcountry guide Capt. Brian Sanders. He specializes in live bait fishing and live bait chumming for snook and redfish. It takes around 2 hours to make the trip but boy was it worth it. On the ride across Alligator Ally we discussed wether the fishing would be slow due to the full moon. Lots of fish don't bite during daylight hours when we have a full moon because they are able to feed with the moonlight all night. We were filming an instructional video with Brian so we crossed our fingers that we would at least catch a few fish. I have fished with lots of great fishermen in my day and take it from me this guy is one of the best for sure. His techniques and his intensity to put you on the fish us unmatched. In 6 hours we caught 11 snook up to 25lbs and 13 redfish up to 8lbs. This was one of the best charters I have ever taken!!
