As I am writing this fishing report I have already made several calls to be sure that my boat is in the right spot for the hurricane. Hurricane plans for your vessel should already be made ahead of time.

I have made plans for my boat to be in dry storage and I have also checked on my insurance and it is up-to-date.

If you do need help figuring out how to tie up your boat for the storm in the water please call the store for information. As for boats on the lifts make sure they are strapped down and don't be afraid to fill some compartments with water if the lift is equipped to handle the weight.
There are a lot of center consoles locally that may be too light for the lift and 100+ knots of wind.

Good luck and stay safe!
